The Litigo Vision
Litigo is a platform which connects high-quality paralegals with law firms, in-house counsel and barristers across Australia.
Litigo was founded in 2025 in a response to complaints. Yes, that’s right, complaints.
As university students at the University of New South Wales, we saw first-hand the struggle of students to get their foot into the door of the legal industry. We would hear endless complaints from first, second, third, fourth and even fifth year students about desperately needing some legal experience but not being able to find a job. Those that could find a job would complain about the nature of the work they were doing, and the lack of ability to find a better job.
As part-time paralegals students at law firms ranging from boutique to top-tier in Sydney, we saw the waxing and waning business demands of firms. Some weeks, paralegal would barely have enough work to do, and other weeks, there would be far too much work for the firm’s paralegals to complete. During the busy times, firms would often express their desire to have more hands on deck. But the extra hands would not be hired, because the week after the busy weeks, the paralegals might be back to working under capacity.
The Litigo model is a response to all of the above issues and many, many more in the legal industry.

The Process:
1. A legal professional posts a task.
2. Paralegals bid on a task price or accept the task as advertised.
3. Once a paralegal agrees to a task, the legal professional reaches out to the paralegal to provide instructions.
4. The paralegal completes the task
5. The paralegal gets paid.
6. Both parties rate each other.
7. Repeat!
